Tax Manager

The Mixed Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the Tax Department, as well as liaising with the Directors to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

A well-established accountancy practice seeking an ambitious Tax Manager, due to continuous growth within the business. This is a full-time position, which offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Description

The Tax Manager duties will be;

The management of a portfolio of clients, potentially up to around 250 clients, across a range of HNWIs, company directors and other, wide ranging cases, acting as the main point of contact, developing relationships and delivering a quality compliance service across self assessment, P11d's etc .
Preparation tax returns for individuals and review more junior staff work, providing guidance and support to their development.
Whilst the role has a compliance focus, there will be increasing opportunity for involvement in planning and advisory project work and the opportunity for career development and progression is on offer for career focused, tax professionals with a clear route to Manager/Partner levels on offer
Help out in other departments when necessary

Profile

• ACCA/ACA or ATT/CTA qualified
• 5+ years experience in a practice
• Clear communicator, verbal and written
