Interim Accountant

-          Supporting the Financial Controller

-          Two-month interim position

-          Hybrid working with an office in Central London

-          Immediate start

-          £200 per day

A F.S business based in London and FCA regulated. Offering advance, low-latency online FX, CFD and Commodity brokerage platforms and services to institutional traders.

This is an opportunity to support the Financial Controller during a busy period on an interim basis. The team are highly motivated and need someone who can take ownership of tasks. You will also demonstrate clear communication and a proactive approach.

This interim role would be a good for someone who is interested in working at home over the Christmas period (4 days).

You will use your operational knowledge and practical ‘hands on’ experience to add value and pick up duties quickly.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with month end
• P&L and Balance Sheet
• Streamlining the daily client money seg report
• Trade creditors analysis
• Putting together updated procedure and process notes
• Improve the balance sheet reconciliation statements
• Help with PAYE reconciliations
• Help with ad hoc finance tasks

Your experience

You can be part/fully qualified or QBE. Key will be your practical accounting knowledge and hands-on accounting experience. A can-do attitude and able to assist with a variety of accounting tasks are essential. You will also need to have the following:

• Experience within a fast paced, high growth business environment;
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines;
• A mind-set which identifies issues and solutions;
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
• Self-motivated attitude and ability to work independently.
