FINANCE MANAGER, GLOBAL FMCG, EMEA, WEST LONDON, C£70K
A well known, global FMCG brand are looking to hire a Finance Manager into their team of 30 to support the EMEA Marketing & Operations of the business. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance you will be one of three Finance Managers controlling 30 countries and all of the financial reporting and P&L prep. The business has a young, fast pace environment so you will need to be comfortable multitasking and organised!
The role:
- Day to day management of a team of 2 (part/fully qualified accountants)
- Manage and oversee all financial affairs and reporting requirements for 9 branches
- Day to day liaison with the local accounting providers for the given branches – for VAT/CIT/other statutory reporting requirements and any current projects
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare annual accounts (Annual AFS/CIT process)
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes for the UK entity (& its branches)
- Ensures that all taxes including payroll, corporate tax and VAT are reported and paid to the relevant authorities within prescribed timelines across the relevant entities
- Ensure internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met
- Lead monthly P&L reviews for the UK entity and its branches (ensure the team are clear on variances needed to be analyzed)
- Lead & manage monthly variance analysis for P&L /Balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations for the UK entity
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare statutory financial statements and all supplementary notes for entities in scope (branches & UK entity)
- Monitor and support taxation requirements and any transfer pricing requirements
- Manage and develop relationship(s) with external service providers and ensures delivery of service level with agreed targets as necessary
- Lead any ad hoc projects (e.g. Fixed assets verification, STBV annual reporting etc etc )
About you
- Qualified Accountant minimum 2+ years PQE
- Management experience of small teams – min 2 years
- Multi-national, multi co code experience
- Financial, tax & statutory accounting experience
- Strong financial and logistics systems skills – SAP preferred
- Advanced Excel
