Financial Controller

We are currently partnering with a leading business services and technology corporate that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. Due to a restructure across finance, there now exists an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join as Financial Controller to manage a small team to oversee daily and monthly finance requirements.

Reporting to the Executive team, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting for the business and entities and managing the reconciliations process - ensuring all aspects of finance and credit control are operating smoothly. The position will also work closely with senior management and help develop the business strategy from an accounting perspective. Key to the role will also be managing and developing a small team and wider finance function, including transactional accounting.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and your background will demonstrate strong operational accounting and technical expertise, ideally with experience of working in a growing business. You will have hands-on skills of preparing accounts and whilst at the same time have experience of managing finance staff of different levels. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and also manage and lead the team.
