Senior Finance Systems Manager

As Senior Finance Systems Manager, you will lead the development and execution of systems strategy and roadmap for Western Europe Finance.

Description

To lead, in partnership with the Finance Leadership Team, the development and execution of a systems strategy and roadmap for Western Europe Finance. Driving for greater automation, standardization and simplification of Finance systems and processes.

The Senior Finance Systems Manager is an integral member of the Finance team, acting as a subject matter expert and conduit between Finance and IT, identifying solutions and driving for continuous improvement across Finance and beyond. Across the business, they are the 'go to' person to determine the impacts of regional, divisional and global IT projects on Finance.

Profile

Required:

· Strong analysis and critical thinking skills

· High level of organizational skills and the ability to be self-directed

· Effective at building relationships and establishing credibility across multiple functions and geographies, including influencing stakeholders at all levels of the business

· Ability to exercise sound judgement in complex situations

· Expert level of understanding of accounting and finance processes and the interaction of those processes with wider business processes

· Expert level of understanding of SAP FI-CO and integration with other SAP modules

· Highly experienced in managing change programmes or leading workstreams within wider change programmes, including systems implementations

· Significant (c years) hands on experience working closely with both Finance and IT

Preferred:

· Previous line management experience

· Experience of working in an FMCG business

· Knowledge and experience of SAP BW and SAP BPC

· Experience of partnering with a shared services organization

· Experience in implementing and improving MI/BI systems and processes and/or experience of developing and implementing a reporting strategy

Job Offer

Between £60k - £80kpa - though exceptional candidates seeking beyond this parameter are invited to apply
