Accounts and Audit Senior

The Company

Axon Moore are recruiting an Accounts and Audit Senior for a well-established and growing practice with a presence throughout the North West. They are seeking an ambitious, part/nearly qualified ACA/ACCA student with 2-3 years’ experience in practice. Their Bury office is looking to increase its complement of Audit and Accounts seniors within its business and expanding audit and accountancy department.

Salary – Up to £34,000 depending on experience and qualification

Role Description

 Your role will be to deal with a varied portfolio of audit/non-audit clients. You will have strong technical ability and excellent client-facing skills. The role will provide great opportunities for development and progression.

Person specification

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified) with at least 2-3 years in practice
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Posess a mixture of audit and non-audit skills
• IT literate, including Microsoft products (Sage and Iris knowledge an advantage)
• Some practical knowledge of corporate and personal tax
• Involvement with training junior staff
• Work using your own initiative and to be able to work under pressure from time to time to meet deadlines
• A full driving licence is required as travel to client site would be necessary
