Order Analyst & Finance Assistant

A customer facing UK supplier of premium products is seeking to add an Order Analyst / Finance Assistant to their team to bridge between the sales order process and the Finance team. The company enjoys high volume daily ordering which is subject to varying pricing contracts and volume discounts that require a highly detailed and numerate individual to account for and reconcile. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up new customer accounts
• Uploading transactions to various e-procurement platforms
• Calculation of rebates and discounts
• Investigation and processing of credit requests
• Accounts payable cover during annual leave and busy periods
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Ad hoc administration duties

The successful applicant will proven analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and be able to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure. You are likely to be a graduate with some experience in financial administration and be confident of working on a multitude of software and be comfortable analysing large volumes of data on Excel with skills to Pivot table / Look ups level. Excellent communication skills are required as there is considerable liaison with customers and internal departments to resolve queries.
