Commercial Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a rapidly growing and successful business in Mansfield as they look to recruit an ambitious Commercial Management Accountant to work within their head office location. This role will report straight into the Head of Finance.

The Commercial Management Accountant will have responsibility of supporting a range of key stakeholders with managing budgets and forecasts as well as providing them with key financial information and analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting core business functions and operating in a commercial environment, this opportunity will allow the holder to immerse themselves in analytics, core accounting functions and purposeful business solutions.

*Taking a key role with regards to acquisitions and integrations
*Full responsibility for all aspects of accounting in relation to your portfolio
*Review and present the monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts
*Ensure reporting requirements are delivered timely and accurately
*Oversee the general accounting processes and reconciliation of all trial balances
*Liaison with external auditors to ensure smooth planning and coordination of the audit process
*Analysis of financial data
*Oversee preparation of VAT Returns
*Continued accounting process improvements
*Ad-hoc project work

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

- Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Stakeholder management and influencing
- Commercial and operational decision support
- Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
- Proactive and inquisitive nature
