Our listed Energy client requires an Interim Head of Group Reporting for 15 months, either working from home or based in Scotland. The role will be reporting into the Group Financial Controller, and have responsibility for two staff members and involve: maintaining, improving and enhancing reporting controls and processes to PLC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive best practice external reporting process and control to PLC standards
- Review and analysis of month-end figures across all operating divisions
- Ensure the adept and timely delivery of group consolidated accounts
- Support various ad-hoc systems/technical projects
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Technically literate within a PLC environment
- Strong team management skills; leading and delivering best-practice
You will be required to be in the office in Scotland on an adhoc basis, with the rest worked remotely if preferred. The role is deemed inside of IR35 and therefore is on a Fixed Term Contract.
