Finance Business Partner for a fabulous charitable organisation, flexible working for a 6 months fixed term.

Your new company

You will be working for a fabulous charitable organisation in the Arts sector who are leaders in their field and produce live performances for audiences to enjoy world wide, educate school children , train the best theatre staff and create projects for the wider community.

Your new role

You will be working within the Finance Business Partnering team, working with the Senior Finance Business Partner to support stakeholders and budget holders to deliver financial planning and budgeting, management reporting and financial control, analysis and performance improvement across a number of the organisations departments, but most likely within their school education, fundraising and digital departments.

You will be producing monthly and year-end management accounts, annual budget and rolling forecasts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries for specific departments/projects during the year, building an understanding of how business activity drives financial results and improve financial modelling and monitoring methods, analysing the performance of allocated budget areas and advise on how to pre-empt problems, adapt to changing circumstances and improve value and advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience in finance business partnering, and communicating with stakeholders to guide and support them to make good financial decisions.

Able to deliver complex financial information clearly and succinctly, verbally and in writing, tailored for the audience.

Experience and ability in creating financial plans which engage budget holders and are rooted in devolved responsibility and real plans to achieve them

Able to hit the ground running and integrate into a great team well.

Happy to suggest ideas, improvements and efficiencies in processes

A high level of IT skills, including experience of developing medium to large financial software packages and advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
