PE Investment Manager

Brilliant opportunity for a top calibre CF or TS professional to make the exciting career step into a significant new N West PE Fund at Investment Manager level, based in central Manchester

My client is a leading national PE House with a long established successful track record of backing profitable and high growth potential SME's with excellent Management Teams, achieving consistently high multiple returns for its investors on exit.

The firm has recently launched a sizeable new lower mid market regional Private Equity fund targeting high quality ambitious SME's with a specific geographical focus on the N West business region, able to provide individual 1st round equity cheque investments between £3m - £10m with further follow up investment for high growth, scalable businesses.

This is a tremendous career opportunity for a high calibre Corporate Finance or Transaction Services professional to make their first positive step into a PE investment role, reporting directly into the Investment Director who will be heading up this significant new regional Fund.

This new role will involve full hands-on involvement and early responsibility in all matters associated with identifying, executing and monitoring private equity transactions:

• Participating in investment origination.
• Researching, evaluating and assessing market sectors, business plans, companies and management teams.
• Preparing reports for the Investment Committee.
• Strong input into analysing, structuring, executing and monitoring investment transactions.
• Develop a strong and trusted professional network including accountants, lawyers, investment bankers and other potential introducers.

The successful candidate will be a graduate qualified accountant who has achieved strong progression in their career to date; you are likely to currently be operating at Manager level within Corporate Finance (or TS) in either a medium-large practice or recognised CF boutique.

You must also be self-driven, results-orientated with a clear focus on quality and performance, as well as having an engaging personality with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships across the local deal-making community and portfolio companies.
