Interim Finance Director

Our Client, a Blue Chip Media & Technology organisation, is going through significant change. In order to complete this transaction they require an Interim operating at the CFO level to assist with the process. It is essential the individual appointed has recent experience of working within the Water industry and therefore understands the the unique complexities of the sector. The key responsibilities of the role include:

The Finance Director will report into the Chief Finance Officer, you'll own the financial business partnering supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Digital Officer, and their leadership teams.

Making use of your strong strategic thinking, you'll advise them on all aspects of P&L performance, whilst supporting them in setting budgets and forecasts, which are well considered against their ambitions and objectives.

Through the development and driving of clear KPIs, you'll provide critical support to the wider division and digital teams. Assessing the financial impact of any changes to strategy, and influencing and challenging the leadership teams, you'll be at the helm of helping the business to make optimal investment and trade-off decisions.

You'll help to identify, understand and realise additional value through strong thought leadership on the basis of automated processes.


The successful applicant will have a demonstrable track record of operating at the FD / CFO or exec level, experience managing a P&L from an operational perspective, have expansive experience in supporting executive leaders within an environment of scale and complexity along with strong commercial and pricing experience including working with complex contracts and bids.
