A top global agricultural commodities trader is looking for a super bright and intelligent Group Reporting Accountant to join their team. Your role would be to help produce monthly reports and statutory reporting. This position will be initially be a 6-month temporary basis. There is potential for your role to move to a permanent basis dependent on your proven ability and performance.
You be reporting into the Group Financial Controller and will play a crucial role in the group consolidations and reporting them to the Board.
Key responsibilities:
- Run monthly consolidation
- Communicate with external auditors for the year-end
- Post journals in relation to consolidation and corporate entities
- Prepare monthly management performance report
- Prepare the Group cash flow
- Preparation of quarterly deliverables
Skills & Experience
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with group accountant experience.
- Experience of complex group consolidation
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Understanding of financial instruments standards
- Experience using the financial reporting system Hyperion
This role would provide you the opportunity to gain a breath of knowledge and broaden your experience whilst working within a highly entrepreneurial environment. Ideally you would have an ACA qualification and experience from a top 4 practice.
