Finance Manager
£75K (12 month contract)
Central London (Hybrid working)
My client is a multi-national property company and are looking for a Finance Manager for 12 months to join to team.
Duties:
- To deliver the corporate reporting and accounting compliance for entities in the UK and Europe and assist on quarterly group reporting submissions
- Responsible for profit recognition and reporting for development project profits
- Monitoring and reporting of work in progress expenditure
- Preparation of cost to complete calculations for completed developments
- Preparation of quarterly reporting including balance sheet reconciliations for UK entities and fully reconciled inter-company accounts
- Preparation & management of weekly cash-flow forecasts and monthly entity bank reconciliations.
- Preparation and review of inter-company costs for billing of Development entities
- Assist with compliance reporting including completion of VAT
- Support the UK consolidation team with the timely delivery of quarterly financial submissions
- Business partnering with other finance teams
- Preparation of statutory reporting adjustments and assistance with preparing financial statements for the UK entities and tax pack analysis to the tax team
- Preparation of audit information at half year and year end
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Previous experience in the property industry would be advantageous
- Strong, demonstrable, technical accounting knowledge
- Consolidation knowledge is desirable
- To have worked in a similar challenging environment
- Strong financial and system skills
- Excellent excel skills
