Halliday Marx have partnered with a Global Real Estate business to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This role has Hybrid working.
You will be supporting the team with monthly reporting and accounting and your key duties will include but not be limited too;
- Monthly accounting and reporting under US GAAP and localised Statutory Reporting for several entities
- Managing 1 Accountant
- Quarterly reporting on Corporate entities & Consolidation.
- Business Partnering with Inter departmental staff
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the annual audit
- Quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Inter company Recharges
- Preparation of Audit & Tax pack
- Prepare monthly Variance Commentary
- Capex Reporting
- Prepare year on year analyses and AR ageing report to support the annual audit
- Preparation of accounting entries including revenue deferrals and revenue accruals
- Ad-hoc duties as instructed and required
About the Successful Candidate;
- A Qualified Accountant from a "Big 4" Accounting firm (ACA, CA, SAICA or equivalent)
- Strong IFRS and US GAAP experience
- Excellent communicator
- Strong team player
- Experience with SAP or similarly large ERP systems extremely desirable
- Outstanding attention to detail
