Financial Controller - Real Estate - OUR CLIENT is a well-established and ever growing real estate investment company which very much have a global presence. Having already amassed over £1 Billion of assets and focusing on sound strategic plans for each of their investments delivered with social consciousness they are now looking to increase their growth five times over the next five years. As a part of this financial growth, they are looking for an experienced, competent, commercially driven Financial Controller to join their team and contribute to their continuing success.
THE ROLE of Financial Controller requires a 'can do' attitude to tackle a variety of duties including but not limited to:
- Analysing cash flow models and ensuring that all reports are relayed to clients
- Monitoring tax returns and ensuring all relevant information and requirements are filed for SPVs
- Reviewing quarterly and annual management accounts for real estate SPVs
- Providing the Asset Management team with assistance for the management of assets and reforecasts / refinances.
- Providing assistance in the closing of new acquisitions on United Kingdom and European assets.
- Providing assistance with analyzing cross border tax.
- Assisting with structuring new assets.
- Managing the relationship with outsourced service providers
- Assisting with reports for banks and investors
- Assisting and preparing management accounts along with corporate consolidations and analysis for board pack.
- Managing other accountants within the team.
THE PERSON: You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with c5 years post-qualification experience and MUST have exposure to real estate. You will exhibit a 'can do' attitude to any task in hand and will be a flexible and open minded professional who demonstrates above average attention to detail. You will be looking for an opportunity to apply your experience in a fast-growing organisation. Knowledge of off-shore structures and different corporate entities is a must. Whilst the employer is based in Central London, this role will be hybrid working and the employer offers flexibility.
