Accountant - Permanent & Progressive Role - FMCG Group - Remote/Office Working -Ledbury, Herefordshire -Hays

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and extremely successful FMCG Group based in Ledbury, Herefordshire to recruit for a driven and dynamic Accountant. A great opportunity offering career progression reporting into the Group Finance Manager where you will be responsible for assisting with the UK & worldwide Group Financial accounting, including Budgeting, Forecasting and development of processes. This position is offering remote/office working and a study package (if applicable) for the right finance professional. Open to both candidates from industry and practice, a progressive role where you can really influence the Group.

Your new role

Your key duties will involve being responsible for the production of the UK Division Management Accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, Budget & Forecast & Group reporting. Monthly Intercompany reconciliation process & reporting, maintenance & overview of Group insurance, assisting with the production of management reports, month-end schedules, and monthly corporation tax estimate postings. You will be responsible for the consolidation of division monthly results and group reporting, assist with the year-end statutory process, year-end accounts tax pack production and tax forecast. You will assist in year-end statutory processes, development of group processes, asset finance processes along with development of balance sheet reviews. You will be involved in various process improvement projects and duties will grow as you develop in the business.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting and progressive Accountant position you will ideally have some experience with the duties required, ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified/qualified with strong MS excel skills. You will be dynamic and driven, motivated to drive change and suggest ideas to improve processes/systems, with key communication skills to build internal/external relationships. You will be used to managing workloads and meeting tight deadlines. It would be advantageous but not essential if you have experience within the Agricultural/FMCG sector and MS Navision knowledge.

What you'll get in return

This hands-on, permanent Accountant role is offering a competitive salary between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependable on experience, based in Ledbury, Herefordshire with remote/office working and a study package.
