Stanton house is currently recruiting an interim Finance Manager to join a growing international brand based in Surrey for a period of 6 - 12 months. The company is full of talented, dedicated, and creative people who provide opportunities for individuals to grow and develop their skillsets.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Financial Controller by focusing on the additional accounting workload created by the Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) for the division in the group being sold to Private Equity.
- Ownership of Month End Process and production of reports for the Head office finance team.
- Production of Management Accounts.
- Completion of general journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register.
- Processing of invoices in E1, helping to manage A/P and A/R, posting cash payments and receipts.
- Complete employee expenses, payroll and VAT return.
- Budgeting and forecasting for cashflow and Acal BFI areas.
- Review the reporting files received from group subsidiaries.
- Circulation of central information such as FX rates, intercompany transaction summaries.
- Other Adhoc activities
To be suitable for this role you must be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA or CIMA). In addition to this it is important you:
- Have experience working with ERP systems (this business uses: JDE Oracle E1).
- Have large business experience (plc) - this is essential, candiddates without this will not be considered.
- Have knowledge of Oracle Smart view excel add-in preferred but not essential.
- Have experience with online banking, payroll and VAT.
- Possess good Excel skills.
- Are a team player, good communication skills, ability to work independently and to work to tight deadlines.
