Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK Group of companies to source them a high calibre Financial Controller for their site in Wolverhampton. This highly successful and rapidly growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint to this lead finance role as soon as possible to support the sites expansion in to 2022.

The Financial Controller role will be a broad and varied position that will incorporate staff management, process/systems development, business partnering and form part of a 3 person management team on site, reporting to the Managing Director. Due to the significant and continued growth the business has experienced, my client is looking for a Financial Controller who has a track record of working to tight deadlines and most importantly, has the ability to balance the 'day to day' with driving process improvement and reviewing of controls/reporting. In addition, there will be a big focus on streamlining the processes around group reporting and ensuring there is a strong work relationship between the site and the UK Finance Director.

This role would best suit an ambitious and driven Financial Controller/Head of Finance who is seeking the move in to a lead finance role and is ready to throw themselves in to a challenge. This position is a Finance Director role in everything but title and will be a great next step in someone's career.

The successful incumbent will come in to the business at an exciting time due to continued and impressive growth the company has experienced over the last 4+ years. This does of course come with it's challenges and so it is essential that all applicants have previously worked within manufacturing and worked in a finance role that requires balancing the needs and reporting requirements of both site and group. These skills and experiences will be essential to being successful in the role and ensure a smooth transition from the interim who is currently covering the position.
