Our client is recognisable brand in the manufacturing & technology sector has a need to bring in an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to assist them through a period of growth and change. This role will form a key part of the finance team, taking ownership for delivering all statutory reporting together with responsibility for the full year audits for this division along with a number of subsidiaries. Acting with professionalism and efficiency, the role will also provide technical accounting expertise whilst supporting the Financial Controller with tax and treasury matters.
Role Responsibilities:
*Take ownership for and manage the annual audit process ensuring that audit information is delivered on time and procedures are managed efficiently
*Prepare and deliver all statutory reporting including all financial statements
*Co-ordinate and manage the month end close process ensuring the timetable is adhered to and all month end actions are completed accurately and on a timely basis
*Take ownership of technical accounting matters
*Support the Financial Controller with tax and treasury activities
*Take responsibility for the maintenance of key financial systems (including Microsoft Dynamics AX) including maintenance of the General Ledger
*Provide information to support internal reporting activities
Skills And Experience
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant underpinned with an excellent academic record. You will have demonstrable technical accounting expertise along with experience of preparing external reporting including statutory financial statements. In addition to this you will have experience with tax matters.
