Finance Manager

We are looking for a talented fully qualified accountant to join this progressive family business as they embrace an exciting period of growth. As the Finance Manager your role will be interesting and varied and you will enjoy a good level of autonomy. The remit of the role is ensure that the business has accurate and timely information to enable effective decision making, and the correct level of financial controls. You will keep up to date with developments within Finance and recommend opportunities to help the business grow. You will maintain strong relationships with other departments and users of financial information across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and publishing weekly and monthly financial information
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Control of Cash Collection cycle
• Financial Analysis of incomes and costs
• Fixed Asset control. Maintaining Fixed Asset Register and controlling and reporting of Capital Expenditure
• VAT Reporting and Compliance
• Statutory reporting
• Improving our processes and systems
• Management of direct reports

Ideally you hold a UK recognized accounting qualification and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
