Partner Financial are working with a private equity backed business in London, with a turnover of £200 million. As a result of a new strategy, the Group have created an opportunity for a Finance Manager you will ultimately be responsible for building relationships across the business, understanding the current controls and processes and identifying how to integrate newly acquired businesses effectively. This opportunity would suit an individual who has significant experience of working on integration projects with highly acquisitive businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing a new global finance operating model through organisational, system, process and reporting enhancements.
- Driving simplification and reducing business risk, to deliver a more efficient and effective finance function.
- Implementing an effective delivery of tactical projects to drive simplification.
- Delivering enhanced management information, whilst working closely with Group Finance and the regions to optimise end-to-end processes.
- Owning the order to cash project globally; developing a consistent framework across the regions whilst supporting future developments.
- Working closely with the Group Finance, providing excellence in terms of implementing standard user training materials for new and existing finance user work groups.
- Leading the global integration of the ERP system and ongoing optimisation to ensure the systems are fit for purpose.
- Maintaining continuous improvement of financial processes and activities.
- Ad-hoc exercises to support the Group CFO, regional finance team and group finance team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- The ability to work autonomously and run various projects globally.
- The ability to offer advice to the business to aid the key decision-making process.
- The ability to influence others and drive change is imperative to this role.
