Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a permanent Senior Finance Business Partner to work for the North East's largest housing association. The business is a a caring landlord and housing developer, owning and managing more than 34,000 homes in the North East of England. Their customers are at the heart of everything they do, and they're for anyone who needs a home and maybe a little help to get it. The business is about investing in neighbourhoods and making a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley.

As a Senior Finance Business Partner in the Development team, you need to be someone who is energetic, robust, and adaptable. You will have an understanding of capital projects and you'll appreciate the importance of collaborative working.

The successful candidate should have experience of development and fixed asset accounting, a good understanding of accounting regulations and the ability to analyse, review and report on complex financial matters.

You will need to be CCAB qualified or equivalent with an appreciation of effective working in a large organisation and comfortable working with an asset base of more than £1 billion. The pace is fast, and you need to be a flexible and adaptable person.

In addition to a competitive salary the business offers a generous pension scheme, flexible working hours (where appropriate) and 28 days annual leave (increasing to 31 days with service) plus bank holidays.

This role has been categorised as home-based, meaning that you will work from home for the majority of the working week because you can fully deliver services in that way. Although you'll be a home-based colleague, you might sometimes need to be physically present at another location or be expected to travel to a Thirteen hub for collaborative work.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Helen Dodds in our Newcastle office for a confidential discussion.
