Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner

Hays are delighted to be partnering with an excellent well known organisation based near to Solihull. The company have 3 different revenue streams in retail, property and logistics and are looking for a Management Accountant looking to develop their business partnering skills.

Your new role

We are looking for a finalist or newly Qualified Accountant who is looking to develop their commercial acumen in a well established team.
Key duties include:
To ensure the accurate and timely production of Revenue and Capital monthly management accounts and quarterly and rolling forecasts, ensuring explanations are provided for variances against budget.
To assist and provide support and guidance to Budget Holders and Development managers in the monthly monitoring of income, revenue costs and capital expenditure against budget and forecasts.
Preparation of comprehensive and clear monthly and quarterly management accounts commentary
Work in collaboration with Budget Holders throughout the business in the preparation of Budget and forecast submissions, providing analytical review and support.
To be responsible for the transfer of completed projects to the fixed asset register ensuring projects are closed in a timely fashion and maintain the Fixed Asset register including reconciliation to the General Ledger.
To support Managers through the provision of financial input to strategic planning, assessing capital investment projects for capital expenditure and help evaluate new contracts as and when required.
To maintain and update various key financial models.
To assist in the production of statutory accounts, ensuring auditors sign off accounts
Production of information for auditors, banks, shareholders and other external bodies.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a Qualified or finalist level candidate who can demonstrate the potential to develop external relationships across the wider business. We are looking for ambitious, IT literate candidates. Consideration will be given to both candidates who have worked in industry but also those who are looking for their first move from Practice.
