Our client is a PE Backed Business Services based in the South East England and currently seeking a highly calibre Chief Financial Officer to work with a well-known Private Equity House to help further develop the strategy. The business has an EBITDA of £10M and leading to a successful exit in the long term.
This is a key role with the commercialization of the business to enable growth and valued contributor to executive-level strategy while reorganizing the systems, controls, processes and team are in place to support this growing business. As CFO you will be working in partnership with the CEO, developing, delivering and evaluating the overall strategy for the business.
The CFO will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing an entire finance and accounting function for a multinational company, including upgrading the financial structure.
- Overseeing and improving the reporting systems and procedures within the company including monitoring, developing, reporting and interpretation of business KPIs.
- Responsible for M&A work, banking relationships, investor management, and engagement with the private equity backers.
- Developing and maintaining strategic banking and corporate finance relationships.
- Ability to provide strategic decision alongside the senior management team and board.
The ideal Candidate
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, and ACMA), preferably chartered.
- Experience as CFO in an international multi-site business with a strong record in organic growth, preferably within a PE/VC backed business in Software, Insurance or Subscription businesses.
- Prior experience preparing and taking a company through a strategic exit.
- Demonstrable experience of complex consolidations and international experience with exposure to multi-currency and country accounts, US knowledge would be highly desirable.
- Experience and ability to re-organize systems, processes and people.
- Able to build strong relationships across the organisation.
- A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels.
