Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, our rapidly growing client is seeking an ACA qualified accountant to join them as Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

This job would suit as ACA qualified accountant who is looking for their 1st role in industry. This job will involve providing commercial analysis & management information support to the related department and providing a high quality of financial analysis and controls to underpin the relationship management with several clients.

This company is one of the largest independent providers within their field and are growing substantially on an international scale.

The successful individual will have great communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. It is essential that the candidate is numerate with a high level of accuracy as well as being IT literate with intermediate Excel skills. The candidate should be comfortable in working in and operational focused environment.

Job responsibilities:

Review of detailed profitability analysis and business efficienciesSuggest recommendations on how these can be improved to support improvement of bottom line growthBe the 'go to' person between the department and Group Finance team to assist with billing, revenue, budget and reporting queriesCo-ordinate and manage the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts Promote, implement, support and communicate key financial data disciplines, controls and practices within the team and with non-finance managersDrive greater understanding of business performance through relevant KPIs and analysisReview performance and develop relevant KPI'sProvide key business/commercial content to improve financial performanceProvide a financial guide to senior management and address financial queries for operational staffEffective communication with non-financial managersDrive continuous improvement culture and development of processesImprove business modelling and financial planning for growth
