Finance Manager

Finance Manager Job, Liverpool, £50000 plus excellent benefits and Hybrid working.

You will be working for a large International supplier of consumer goods - they are the largest in their specialist fields and operate across the globe.
Liverpool hosts the UK head office which supports a wide variety of UK Subsidiary businesses.
Liverpool is a very busy, fast-moving and commercial hub and the finance shared-services centre provides high quality services to the rest of the business.
International exposure brings with it complexity and and challenge but also a stimulating environment.

Your new role
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the P&L and balance sheet for a number of divisions.
You will be responsible for consolidating and reviewing budgets and forecasts for reporting purposes.
You will oversee all balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure appropriate financial controls are in place.
Commercial exposure will come in a variety of forms including a review of the weekly P&L forecasts.
At year end you will lead the audit process and ensure all statutory accounts are completed.
At period end close you'll ensure that all Record to Report processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner and will ensure the integrity of all G/L reconciliations.
Sarbanes Oxley - You will have oversight of all control sign offs for your divisions.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who has worked in a complex and fast-paced accounting environment.
Shared service centre experience is particularly desirable but not essential.
You should have proven experience of delivering monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
Sarbanes Oxley experience is desirable but not essential, however a good understanding of financial controls is important.
