Financial Controller

Marks Sattin are pleased to be working with an exciting and innovative Venture Capitalist (VC) backed organisation who manufacture and sell high end luxury products (B2C) to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis.

The organisation is owned by two extremely entrepreneurial owners. Following fantastic milestones being reached already, 2021 revenue targets exceeded and significant investment - 2022 is set to be with most successful year to date. New high end products will be launched to the market for 2022 and the business have received great media attention.

The Financial Controller will report directly to the CEO and will take ownership of the day to day finance operations providing strong internal controls, commercial analysis, financial planning, cash flow forecasting. The Financial Controller will also lead the system implementation project which is set for 2022.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller includes:

• Preparation of the management accounts
• Assisting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Providing commercial insight and analysis for the Board of Directors
• Providing monthly commentary on results highlighing opportunities and risks
• Maintaing robust internal controls
• Play an integral part of the system implementation project
• Liaise with the auditors on all statutory requirements
• Support the Senior Leadership Team to grow out the finance function as the business continues to grow

To be considered you must:

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) or Qualified by Experience
• Have had experience in a Number 1 or Number 2 position within a small/medium organisation covering all aspects of finance
• Have had some exposure to leading/supporting an ERP System implementation
• Be a self-starter with a proactive approach
• Have strong communication / interpersonal skills
