An Assistant Accountant position with Europe's leading venture capital firm that invests in some of the world's most exciting start-ups.

The successful candidate will be a recent gradudate (must have some internship experience) or have up to 18 months experience within a finance role already.
Responsibilities of assistant accountant include:
- Prepare monthly accounts and relevant supporting analysis
- Assist with the budget process and prepare monthly reports for budget holders
- Provide support with weekly payment runs, monthly payroll processes, and the staff benefits scheme
- Oversee and coordinate with fund administrators in mutliple jurisdictions
- Prepare compliance and regulatory reporting submissions for group manager review
- Carry out intercompany reconciliations, and provide support on VAT returns
You do not need to have had experience working for an investment fund. Instead, an interest in
tech, start-ups or venture capital as well as a budding career in finance is all that is needed.
Requirements of assistant accountant:
- Must have a 2:1 university degree OR AAT qualified
- Have started, or want to start, the ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Knowledge in excel and spreadsheets, and keen to develop skills
- A strong growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Interest in finance, venture capitals and technology
