Due to rapid expansion, a newly created FP&A Manager role has been created to own the forecast process and to continuously improve reporting for senior management. The role will also partner the Retail channels to drive insight and action into business performance.

Description

  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and long-range plans ensuring stakeholder engagement
  • Identify and monitor key risk and opportunities to performance vs plan
  • Prepare monthly commercial forecasts ensuring alignment between Commercial and Buying functions to ensure efficient utilisation of working capital
  • Partner with the Treasury to build weekly cash forecasting to manage the Group's liquidity
  • Report monthly management accounts for all international markets and the R&D team, drawing out relevant insight into business performance for senior management
  • Prepare monthly central cost centre reporting
  • Use a combination of financial data and key performance indicators to analyse financial performance ensuring all KPIs are documented
  • Work with the Financial Accounting team to support future developments in reporting
  • Business Partner Retail leaders to provide a single point of contact for Finance
  • Monitor performance ensuring P&Ls are accurately reported, performance is understood and identify opportunities for improvement

Profile

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with FP&A experience in a Retail or FMCG business
  • Interpersonal skills, great at building relationships with many people across the organization
  • Excellent skills working with systems and are comfortable at manipulating data, working with Excel to a high level
  • Adept at working on multiple tasks, prioritising when necessary
  • Proactive and actively seek solutions to problems, happy to work autonomously where required
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem solving independently and with other teams
  • Able to combine strategic big picture thinking with the capacity to get hands on in the detail.
  • Can get things done by collaborating well with others, communicating openly and comfortable in giving constructive and motivating feedback
  • Is mindful of their impact on the wider team and their responsibility to create and maintain a productive, engaging and high-performance culture
