Senior Finance Business Analyst

The successful candidate will support the Commercial Finance Manager for the group function. The main purpose of this role is to actively support the Commercial Finance Manager and Senior team in analysing and reviewing performance across the group, providing 'real time' support to the Partners and Senior Team.

Description

• Month end process, monthly reporting packs, P&L reviews & variance analysis
• Writing commentary to include in business performance reports and hosting regular meetings with Partners to conduct Performance Reviews
• Analytical support for the Commercial Finance Managers and Senior Business Stakeholders
• Delivering analysis that supports the Commercial Finance Manager in meeting key strategic requirements
• Supporting on budgeting, planning and forecasting
• Work in tandem with the rest of the Commercial team to ensure quality control and best practice is developed including streamlining processes and analysis
• Ensuring timely query management
• Work closely in collaboration with HR on Partner performance and promotions
• Overseeing the work of the Junior Commercial Accounting Analyst on a day-to-day basis
• Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager and Firm across a range of projects as required.

Profile

Ideally Qualified or Newly Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders at all level.

Experience of presenting information to senior stakeholders in a concise and easy to understand manner with real tangible benefits.

You will also have good knowledge and practical experience of analysing and interpreting financial data and explaining your findings
