Interim Financial Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a specialist manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for 3-6 months.

This is an immediate interim requirement to provide support throughout a busy period and alongside a permanent recruitment process and therefore the successful candidate must be available to start right away. This role is supporting a site in North Sheffield however the business currently operates a work from home policy 5 days per week, with some limited adhoc time spent working in the office.

As a Financial Accountant you will undertake a varied role with duties including but not be limited to:
*Preparing statutory accounts
*Corporation tax and VAT returns
*Budgeting and Forecasting
*Monthly reporting and analysis
*Business Partnering with stakeholders/department heads across various areas of the business
*Capex appraisals
*Investment planning
*Financial controls process and improvement to better integrate transactions from the Ireland business into Head Office
*Creating best practice and improving audit control

Initially anticipated to be a 3-6 month contract, with a live permanent requirement being recruited alongside, this interim role has the opportunity to become a longer term position for the successful candidate.
