Head of Tax / Senior Tax Manager - Tech Company - Immediate Start

My client is looking hire a Tax manager/Head of Tax on a Maternity cover for the next 12 months. This is a great role within a vibrant and growing team.

The Role

• Responsible for all corporate tax and value-added tax aspects for the international entities, as well as being extensively involved in everything that concerns international tax obligations specifically in relation to an IT/technologies business as well as all other tax-related topics.

• Group structuring involving subsidiaries in Europe, the US and Australasia (mergers, demergers, in-kind contributions asset/share deals, tax unity)

• Experience on European cross border tax topics (business reorganisations, mergers, permanent establishment)
• Knowledge of transfer Pricing analysis and implementation and Cross Border Tax strategy and planning aspects
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
• Previous experience leading a team

• Building and developing relationships with external tax advisory and compliance providers
• Documenting and mitigating tax risks

About you

• ACA Qualified Tax Professional
• 5 to 10 years experience within the area of Corporate / International Tax, with expertise in the cross-border tax or compliance department of a large organisation
• Previous experience within the Tech/IT sector would be a distinct advantage
• Strong Attention to detail
• Stakeholder management skills
• Has previously documented and led a tax team through a similar situation
