Financial Controller

In your position you will be responsible for the accounting operations of their key UK business unit based in Hertfordshire.

The purpose of this role is to manage the day to day activities of the accounting functions to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results are on time.

As Financial Controller leading a team of 5, the job holder will report directly to the Area Managing Director and Group Finance Director and will be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial controls are applied throughout the business, together with providing exceptional commercial support to key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will we be a qualified accountant with 3-5 years+ PQE with strong exposure to manufacturing and inventory or aviation industries. US GAAP and SOX compliance experience is an advantage.
