FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Your new company

A market leading and growing organisation with c.£3-4m turnover, (part of a larger group set up), with a very customer focused approach and high performance/high integrity culture seeks a new hands-on Financial Controller. You will be working from a pleasant office space (with parking) 3-4 days a week, with flexibility for home working available 1-2 days a week.

Your new role
Reporting to the local Managing Director and Group CFO, you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting for this legal entity and as the business continues to grow will recruit a small team to support you as appropriate. You will be a key individual within the senior leadership team, responsible for producing the monthly management accounts, cash-flow reporting, payroll and assisting with budgeting and long term business planning. You will need to be prepared to be hands-on, with strong attention to detail, the appetite to improve systems/processes and the flexibility to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a similar hands-on Financial Controller role (ideally within a manufacturing/engineering company). Excellent communication skills; both written and verbally. IT literate, particularly with Excel and Sage experience would be an advantage. The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
