Description
This wide-ranging role has direct responsibility for reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the Western European business. As well as P&L and balance sheet understanding, this role includes specific responsibility for the creation of the cash flow forecast, including working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to drive accuracy and understanding.
In general, the role is expected to provide clear, timely and accurate financial analysis covering the whole business unit, giving insight regarding the results and forecasts to the Western Europe Regional Leadership Team (RLT) and the leadership of the EMEA & APAC Division, to support operational and strategic decision-making. In addition, the position contains ownership of the month end close process, including responsibility for a wide range of financial controls.
The role would suit someone who is keen to develop a well-rounded understanding of the whole business, who is able to think and communicate clearly and who possesses a strong understanding of governance & controls as well as commercial flair.
Profile
- * Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of a business, including senior stakeholders
* Previous FP&A experience in a large company/group
* Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to use information, experience and judgement to drive results
* Highly analytical with an eye for detail
* Previous experience in either delivering finance transformation or driving continuous improvements and efficiencies through the adoption of new tools and/or ways of working
* Line management experience
Job Offer
£70 -80k pa basic salary
£6k car allowance
