Interim Assistant Accountant

I am recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a global market leading business based in Chester on a temporary/ temp to perm basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for
providing timely and accurate financial data to support the current needs and future growth of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well regarded business on an ongoing temporary basis which may lead to a permanent role for the successful candidate.

Duties Include:

• Project profitability
• Analysis of processes (both within the team and in other connecting departments )
• P&L review
• Balance sheet review
• Sales commission accruals and quarterly calculations
• Budgets and forecasts
• Monthly reporting packs
• Revenue forecasts
• Orderbook reports
• Month end revenue check and accruals
• Customer analysis
• Review and feedback of EBITDA
• Variance analysis
• Service WIP
• Country sales report with analysis
• CO postings
• Departmental reporting and feedback
• Monthly meetings
• Assist with the production of the Global Revenue Report
• Overhead coding checks

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and must be available to start work on minimal notice.
You will have strong communication and business partnering skills.
Ideally you will CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified, AAT qualified, or suitably qualified by experience.
Strong Excel skills are essential.
