A new and exciting role has entered the market for a Management Accountant to join a high growth organisation that operate in the Sports industry. This is an excellent business, with clear and ambitious growth plans set out for 2022 and beyond.
Due to this growth we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join in a broad role, covering month end, commercial finance and have some technical input.
Ideal candidates will be driven by career progression, with a clear determination to get stuck into a growing and varied role. This process will move quickly, with interviews and offer sent out before the Christmas break.

Key responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow for designated areas.
- Preparation for the board packs on a monthly basis.
- Seek any opportunities for improvement to the company management information system to aid decision making.
- Supervisory role over some transactional staff, wit ha potential line management of one.
- Provide regular financial updates to various departments with the business.
- Involvement in the group audit.
- Involvement in statutory filings and other corporate duties in line with cost centre requirements.
- Ad-hoc projects on process improvement and wider business projects.
Person specification:
- ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
- Experience working in a Management Accountant role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong excel skillset.
