Head of Finance

We are supporting a high profile private equity backed leisure business in a appointing a Head of Finance to play a key role in supporting and delivering the business’ acquisitive growth agenda. This is a high profile, highly visible role within a first-class senior management team. This position is primarily responsible for providing commercial and financial support to the UK business. The role includes responsibility for the strategic leadership for UK Finance team to build the financial capability and to deliver exceptional service to the business.  

In a broad role, key deliverables will include:

• Leading and developing the finance function, including delivering efficiencies in processes and reporting, and investment in automation
• Leading and developing the FP&A capability and modelling, including embedding scalability to accommodate future acquisitions
• Providing commercial challenge to the business and budget holders on forecasts and performance
• Preparation of the annual UK strategic and financial budget plan in conjunction with the COO, Contribute fully to the development of company strategy and commercial activity across all areas of the UK business

Key Attributes will include:

• ACA/CIMA qualified, with a minimum 8+ years in a variety of senior roles within industry, ideally within leisure or travel
• A proven track record of delivering successful business outcomes
• Experience delivering programmes of change including the integration of acquisitions
