Your new firm
A small independent firm in Stockport town centre are looking to recruit a practice accounts professional to join their team on a permanent basis as a senior accountant. This role has arisen due to new business wins and with this in mind they can accommodate either part time or full time hours.
Your new role
As a senior accountant you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, predominantly consisting of OMBs, preparing statutory accounts and tax compliance along with reviewing the work of junior staff. You will be responsible for holding the client relationship, managing all deadlines and attending some client meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has previous experience of working within general practice in an autonomous role. As you will be managing a client portfolio you must have strong communication and organisational skills. Ideally you will live locally to Stockport and the firm will consider part time hours or full time hours from 2 days a week.
