Axon Moore are representing a Bradford based Group looking to add a Senior Financial Accountant to their Group Division.

This is a highly visible role across the business with excellent levels of exposure to divisional heads.

Operating as part of a growing Group function, the role will have a broad set of responsibilities, leveraging the candidates technical background and providing the platform to gain a rich experience across a dynamic and growing business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include but will not be limited to:

• Preparing statutory financial statements for group companies alongside the FC
• Liaising with stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic reports
• Management of month end reporting process for a divisional business
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Manage the relationship with the Treasury team, ensuring weekly payments runs are made
• Liaison with auditors and meeting their request in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure that balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a regular basis with appropriate review
• Responsibility for Tax compliance for a number of divisional businesses

This role will suit an analytically minded, technically strong ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified candidate who will be able to demonstrate relevant experience.   With excellent attention to detail, you must possess an organised approach to work and ideally bring with your previous experience within a multi-sited business.  The role is offered for 6-7 months on an FTC, to start as soon as possible on a hybrid basis.
