An exciting opportunity exists to join our Ford Finance Team as a Finance Analyst in Product Development Finance, supporting our UK based Commercial Vehicle Team. As a member of the Finance Team, you’ll be responsible for a lot more than just crunching numbers - we work collaboratively supporting our operational partners across the business.

THE ROLE

Our roles are dynamic. Expect to;

  • Build close working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders including Product Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing & Sales  – being trusted to both provide sound advice, and to challenge traditional thinking
  • Use analytical methods and financial modelling to help guide, inform and influence operational decision making relating to current and future products including the rapidly developing electrification product offering
  • Be close to our products and services, developing business cases for commercial actions and ad-hoc studies including benchmarking analysis
  • Drive process improvement and simplification as we progress through the Vehicle development lifecycle
  • Prepare standard and non-standard reporting with insightful commentary for both finance and non-finance customers
  • Work within a strong Internal Control environment proactively managing business risk
  • Grow and develop your skills through working across a wide range of areas in our business

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or similar discipline
  • Be CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience in either a finance analyst or commercial role
  • Be comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data – and have experience in data analytics
  • A self-starter with a commercial mindset, who is happy working in teams, and independently

Working at Ford

  • We’re currently working from home to minimise face to face contact in the office. Whilst the role is based in Dunton, Essex, we are moving to a hybrid working arrangement, meaning there will be a combination of office collaboration and non-office working
  • We pride ourselves on being a flexible employer. We will consider applications for flexible work arrangements, either at the outset of your career or later as needs arise
  • We believe your development is important; we support both professional and personal development including mentoring from current leaders and CIMA
