Our client, a large International business are looking for a strong interim Senior Technical accountant to join them for 6 months initially whilst they undergo a period of change. With year-end approaching, this person will be involved in adhoc projects and supporting the group finance team in getting their numbers accurately prepared and ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Director of Group Finance on ad-hoc projects
- Support the business with technical knowledge and advice on IFRS 9 and IFRS 15
- Work with the Group Chief Accountant in ensuring all the financials are accurately reported
- Work closely with the group finance team to get the numbers accurate for the auditors
- Ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant
- Proven experience within Large PLC business background, (preferred)
- Experience of SAP or other similar systems
- Strong technical IFRS and UK GAAP experience
