Audit & Accounts Manager

A successful Accountancy Practice based in Manchester is looking to continue its expansion by bringing in a talented Audit & Accounts Manager.

With a strong individual at the helm, the business has built a solid base of extremely successful clients with a real focus on SME entities.

You will deal with and manage a portfolio of clients and it is expected you will have strong commercial acumen and an ability to communicate with those at multiple levels including Directors and on-site finance.

Within this role, you will be leading on-site audits, finalising audit assignments, preparing statutory accounts and assisting with supervision and training of junior members of the team. The approximate split is 50/50.

The ideal candidate will have had experience of managing audits and leading a team. ACA or ACCA Qualified and have strong communication skills.
