Interim Financial Analyst

Our client is a fast growing consulting business that due to continued growth have a requirement to recruit an Interim Finance Analyst. The purpose of the Financial Analyst role is to analyse and report on the business; driving consistent metrics that help explain and support the financial results. Reporting needs to be provided in a timely and high quality manner. This will include understanding the key business drivers and using these to create monthly packs and analyses for presentation, fact based budgets and forecasts, alongside in-depth analysis and production of insight-driven commentary and dashboards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Measure, analyse and explain business performance through the delivery of key reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as appropriate
- Responsible for the creation of the Monthly Business Performance Review (BPR) powerpoint presentation, covering cashflows, P/L and investments
- Responsible for the key inputs into the group function for all F&A requirements
- Coordinate the mid-month flash reviews and consolidation of results
- Perform value added performance and functional analysis as required (e. enhancement of cashflow reporting and development of working capital drivers).
- Assist in development of performance-based dashboards, scorecards and reports
- Assist in the review of business areas' performance with management and support annual Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting
- Analyse business targets, current forecasts, and conduct root cause analysis of missed targets

The successful candidate will have a experience of carrying out Interim Analyst roles successfully. The essential skills and experience required are; excellent communication, high numeracy levels, strong financial / operational and commercial expertise gained from within customer orientated environments .
