This rapidly expanding specialist healthcare business is looking for a Management Accountant to add to its team on a full-time, permanent basis. Playing a pivotal role in the business moving forward, the Management Accountant will work out of the business’s Sheffield-based location.

About the Role

In this position, the Management Accountant will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
• Assisting with cashflow forecasting.
• Assist in month end routines.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with analysis for month end forecasting and budget.
• Variance analysis.
• Analysis of budget and forecast.
• Assist with balance sheet control and account reconciliations.
• Journals.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Process purchase invoices.
• Credit control.
• Any other ad hoc tasks, as required.

About You

To be considered for this position, candidates should have the following profile:

• The business is seeking a part-qualified individual who is well on their way to full qualification.
• Previous management accountant experience – with a desire to progress – is desirable.
• Advanced ability with Excel, with the ability to handle Pivot Tables, VLookup, and the analysis of large data sets.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, competent and conscientious.

Salary & Benefits

The business is offering the successful Management Accountant a salary of between £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. They will also gain access to the company pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and study support. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for more autonomy and responsibility, as well as mentorship from the Financial Controller.
