Marks Sattin Executive Search are working with an AIM Listed business who are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to work with the and guide them through a period of growth. This will be through both M&A and organic growth, as they are looking to double their turnover

This is a unique opportunity to join a client who operates within a niche market and is the market leader in its sector. The CEO is passionate re both the business and the industry sector, and has a track record of supporting all aspects of operational and commercial performance. With overall responsibility for the delivery of strategic and operational finance, the CFO will play a leading role in contributing to the long-term development of this business, working alongside the CEO and Chairman.

This CFO will play a critical role on the board, working in collaboration with the CEO to drive strategy, make critical operational decisions, and help to build their story. Based in London or possibility for a hybrid working model, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategy and plan for the business, including managing all business growth, performance opportunities and oversee their acquisitions and integrations

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered.
  • Ideally have extensive experience as a CFO, but may considered an exceptional Divisional Finance Director working in a Public Company.
  • Experience within Facilities Management, Telco and or Utilities would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate at senior level with a proven track record of strategic thinking and a 'can-do' attitude to driving business growth.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate the finance team
  • A proactive, energetic, pragmatic, hardworking individual with strong people skills.
  • Strong experience with M&A (acquisition and integration) is a must
