Reporting to the CFO, the FP&A Analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting key stakeholders whilst using their technical finance knowledge, reporting ability and relationship building skills to navigate a complex area of the business. The FP&A Analyst will also contribute to a number of current and significant regulatory projects.

 

FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the CFO with regulatory change management projects and annual reporting requirements 
  • Driving transparency and collaboration whilst supporting the Business Partnering team to deliver reporting improvements and insight to help grow the business
  • Working with wider finance teams to resolve technical and complex accounting matters, improve processes and drive working capital best practice across the business
  • Taking an active role in understanding existing business cross charges, intercompany and transfer pricing agreements with a view to improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with tax requirements
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of a wide variety of commercial decks and reports
  • Identifying risks and improving processes and controls
  • Supporting the implementation of a major new Finance system
  • Continually reviewing existing processes, mitigating risks and making efficiency improvements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Finalist or Qualified finance professional (ACA or ACCA)
  • Demonstrable understanding of technical accounting 
  • Experience of working in a fast paced regulated environment
  • Previous audit experience advantageous
  • Organised and analytical - able to prioritise tasks and identify key issues
  • Focussed and commercial - able to work to tight deadlines and capable of building sustainable relationships within the business
  • Emotionally intelligent 
  • Able to evidence process improvement throughout career to date
  • Strong Excel skills and an appetite for utilising Finance Systems
