Due to continued expansion, a niche international manufacturing company with its UK based in the Burnley area is looking to appoint an ambitious AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA part qualified Accountant. As Management Accountant you will be the right hand person to the Financial Controller and would also be the main finance point of contact for operational management - it therefore gives you a great profile within the organisation. The role offers study support and the Financial Controller on site is keen to develop someone into a more senior role in the medium term therefore this opportunity could be a great springboard.

The remit of the role is broad - which will work well if you are studying towards professional qualification. Some of the things you will take ownership for include:

Production of management accounts for the site

Development of KPI reports working closely with operational managers

Stock reporting and ad hoc analytical reports to support decision making

To be considered for this role you should be actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA or alternatively, AAT qualified and looking to move towards further professional study. You should also have some exposure to management accounts preparation and whilst manufacturing isn't essential, experience of stock reporting would be a distinct advantage.

As well as a competitive salary, the role offers full study support (CIMA/ACCA), an excellent pension scheme, 25 day holidays plus bank holidays and free onsite parking. There is also some working from home potential.

For a confidential discussion about this opportunity please call Vicky Lomas at Adele Carr Financial Recruitment on 01772 914121 or alternatively submit your CV for immediate consideration. Interviews to be scheduled in during the 2nd/3rd weeks of January.
