Your new role
Operating as a pro-active business partner to the Directors and other members of the senior management team, you will play a key role to support this growth journey, whilst also evolving the financial systems, processes and governance. This role will be involved in key strategic and operational decisions, which could include areas such as M&A or capex appraisal. You will also have responsibility for maintaining and co-ordinating all financial management, tax planning and statutory reporting activities for the group including financial planning and analysis, management of transactional processes, ensuring robust financial controls - whilst leading and developing the central finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have operated in a similar role for either a high-growth business or a business in excess of £50m turnover in the Construction or related sector. You will need to be a confident and strong character, who has an eye for detail and brings a high level of honesty and integrity to their role and team.
What you'll get in return
This is an office-based role for someone who enjoys developing people and being surrounded by both the board and wider operational teams to drive the business forward and therefore it is likely you will live in the West Midlands. In addition to the basic salary there is £10k car allowance and a 10% bonus.
